Rachel Maino

Career Specialist

Rachel Maino is our Career Specialist and works with neighbors to help them find jobs and learn more about what it means to participate in the workforce in the United States. 

Rachel graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Science. Since graduating high school she has spent time living overseas, studying cross-culturally, and working as a Patient Care Assistant in both adult and pediatric hospitals in Columbus Ohio. Rachel lived on Riverview Drive for 3 years and has enjoyed building friendships with neighbors who were truly her neighbors! 

Rachel enjoys learning about the values, beliefs and cultures of other people. She finds listening to people’s stories, whether they be new friends or old friends, as one of the most important foundations to any job. “If you are willing to hear and sense both what is being said as well as what goes unsaid, you can figure out how to truly care for anyone.” Rachel is grateful for the kindness of our neighbors and their compassion and passion for welcoming others, both from the States and other places around the world. “It is both an honor and a gift to learn to know Riverview neighbors.”
