Edit was born and raised in Hungary. In her late twenties, she moved abroad in the UK to volunteer for an international NGO participating in fundraising, promotion, and
community outreach programs. Then she went on to Malawi, Africa assisting local nonprofits with projects focused on development aid and education-based teaching programs in rural villages.
In 2014, Edit relocated to Columbus, Ohio with her husband and young family. She completed an Associate’s degree at Columbus State Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications at Franklin University. After graduating, she worked for Columbus City Schools supporting diverse families and their students to reach their educational goals.
