CAS FUNDRAISER FOR SUMMER PROGRAM
The RIC’s Summer Program offers fun and educational experiences for New American children who live in Columbus, many of whom live on Riverview Drive, just a few blocks from CAS. The program includes six weeks of summer reading to build English language literacy, in addition to other events and activities.
Your contribution to the CAS YP April events will fund the RIC’s expenses to coordinate and deliver this program.

Here’s how to join us in volunteering one day or more
during the summer reading program:
SPECIAL EVENTS
Join us for one-time events (e.g. STEM activity, Columbus Symphony visit) to assist with event set up and tear down while engaging with the neighborhood kids
SUMMER READING
Sign up to be a Summer Reading Buddy by pairing up with the neighborhood children to support their literacy skills in a social and fun environment
FIELD TRIPS
Join our family-friendly field trips to local parks and attractions by assisting with transportation and creating new memories
LITERACY CAMP
Come be a part of an educational and fun day camp experience by providing classroom assistance and social support to the neighborhood children
