SUPPORT SUMMER PROGRAM FOR KIDS

The RIC’s Summer Program offers fun and educational experiences for New American children who live in Columbus. This summer, we’re more than doubling our program offerings—with fun, enriching, and educational activities for New American children and their families right here in Columbus. It all kicks off with our signature six-week summer reading series and continues with exciting events like:

  • Family Fun Day Kick-Off with bounce houses and games

  • English Enrichment for Kids & classes for adults

  • Crafts, Games, and Science Nights

  • Game Day with a friendly therapy dog

  • “Love Yourself” Summer Camp for girls 11–18 with Our Helpers

  • Arabic Language Series for kids learning the language of the Quran

  • Nationwide Children’s Mobile Unit for school screenings and health checks

  • Plus special programs from amazing partners like Columbus Symphony, CAS, Ohio State, Mid-Ohio Farm at NBC4, and Moody Nolan Architecture

We’ll wrap it all up with our annual backpack giveaway on August 17—getting kids ready to head back to school with confidence.
