SUPPORT SUMMER PROGRAM FOR KIDS

The RIC’s Summer Program offers fun and educational experiences for New American children who live in Columbus. Our initial signature program, the six-week summer reading series, has expanded to include many enrichment programs for adults and children including:

  • Family fun day summer reading kick-off with bounce houses and games

  • Classes for adults and English enrichment for children

  • Crafts, games, and science nights

  • Game day play with a therapy dog

  • Girls 11-18 “love yourself” summer camp with Our Neighbors

  • Arabic class series - for kids to learn the language of the Koran

  • Nationwide Children’s mobile unit for school screenings & kids health

  • With additional programs from partners like Columbus Symphony, CAS, Ohio State, the Mid-Ohio Farm at NBC4, Moody Nolan Architecture

  • Annual backpack distribution Aug. 17

Your contribution today will fund the RIC’s expenses to coordinate and deliver these programs.
