Iman Shehabi

Community Health Coordinator

Iman Shehabi is our Community Health Coordinator and will be working with our neighbors and staff to increase access to important health-related services and programs.

Iman has a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in social work from The Ohio State University, where she specialized in mental health. Some of you may recognize Iman because she completed her undergraduate field practicum at Riverview International Center several years ago! Throughout her career, Iman has fostered relationships with diverse populations, working towards diminishing the stigma around mental health.

Iman was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio but comes from a background of immigrants herself. Her parents are of Palestinian descent and migrated to America in pursuit of opportunity for their family. Iman understands the unique challenges immigrants and the first generation face, strengthening her passion to serve the Riverview International Center community.
